F Train is a service of the New York City Subway also known as the F Sixth Avenue Local. It runs on the IND Sixth Avenue Line through Manhattan. The service uses a round orange route sign. It operates at all times from the 179th Street Subway Station in Jamaica, Queens, to the Stillwell Avenue Subway Station in Coney Island, Brooklyn.

The F Train is one of only two New York City Subway services that go through two East River subway tunnels, namely the 63rd Street Tunnel between Queens and Manhattan, and the Rutgers Street Tunnel, between Manhattan and Brooklyn.
