Hello and Welcome to New York City Travel Tips! I created this website so that we can all pay an online visit to New York City, from the comfort of our computer. Now you don't have to visit this city to get to know it. Through New York Travel Tips, we will explore all the places in NYC, get to know each of them, since there are so many things to do in New York. And we will be doing it directly from our desk!

There is so much to describe of New York City, this website is never ever completed. Even now there are whole sections that are waiting to be written. Please bear with me as I continue to add to it!

This website is not a travelogue. I am not documenting my travels here. Rather it is the result of what I have discovered and learned about New York City, which I've enjoyed so much, and am sharing my discovery with like-minded enthusiasts.

New York City is one of the most expensive cities in America. If your plans include one of the cruises from New York, careful planning means you can get to explore the city as well.

Getting to know New York City

New York City is the largest city in the United States. It is home to 8.9 million people while the New York Metropolitan Area, with a population of 18.7 million, is the largest metropolitan area in the United States, and fifth in the world behind Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Mexico City and Seoul. It can be considered the "capital of the world". This is the city where news happen and fashion made.

The metropolitan area of New Yock City is one of the largest urban centres in the United States. The city consists of five boroughs of which the most important is Manhattan. Most of the tourist attractions of New York City are all located there. Manhattan is an elongated island with the Hudson River to the west and the East River to the east of it.
